KDE CE RC1 Delayed This has been (mainly) because of a problem with localization – downloaded languages did not install. Even with a DVD sized ISO we can’t have all language packs in the ISO – bandwidth comes with a prize.
We get an increasing amount of spam in the forum (we are popular :)) but it’s becoming quite a nuisance….

can you believe the Dell people are asking us (ubuntu laptop buyers) to use windows or even worse a floppy with msdos to flash the bios… where one to get a floppy drive these days..

Seriously? A laptop does not have a floppy, was a long time since that was the case
However it is possible to make a bootable CD that acts like a floppy

Speculation over back door in Skype – it does not open here
I always run away from skype. People also are talking about
back door in firefox but i think in a different way. Nothing
really too serious.
