From one end user to another Thank you to everyone who donated for the month of June.
I installed Mint 5 two weeks ago after using Windows since version 3.1 and DOS 5. I have never used, or even seen, a Linux OS before and didn’t really know what it was all about. But I’ve got to tell you that I am in love with it and never want to return to Windows – even though I have a duel boot for the programs I paid a lot of money for and not sure if they have equals in Linux. What a great job the developers have done with Mint 5. My son encouraged me to install Ubuntu 8.04 just before I installed Mint 5, which I did, but when Ubuntu is compared with Mint 5, Ubuntu just doesn’t measure up. Mint is the best OS I have ever seen, and for someone who knows nothing about Linux – and I mean nothing – I am picking it up fairly quickly. Thank you to all the hard working developers who put in a lot of time and effort, and creativity, to make this old timer very happy. Thank you.
