The user guide for Linux Mint 4.0 Daryna was translated into French by Kronophage (who also happens to lead the IRC Quizz all-stars table for this month). The document is available here: http://ftp.heanet.ie/pub/linuxmint.com/4.0/LinuxMint-4.0-User-Guide_FR_v1.pdf
Well, actually, Kronophage is my IRC Nick. I am known as ed@Mint on the forums ๐
And thanks again for the announcement.
Hello Clem,
We Mint-Italia also have translated the Daryna Guide.
Is here: http://www.linuxmint-italia.org
Clausius
Aaaargh the Italian Guide will be the second one for a few hours! ๐
Congratulations!
Clausius, Kanishka: Can you make the .odt file for the Italian guide available as well? Once I have both the .odt and the .pdf I’ll put these files on the mirrors and make a new announcement.
I almost forgot: Carlos is currently thinking of a way to show the user guide (in all supported languages) directly from within the start page. We don’t want to clutter the page and at the same time we want to make sure as many users get to know about the user guide as possible… hence the little dilemna ๐
Merci pour ce guide, ca sera sรปrement utile ร beaucoup ๐
I just want to add something. If The user’s guide is translated in many languages, you could add it in a repository, so if we change the language to spanish, per example, when the system is being downloading -es packages for spanish, it also downloads the user guide and put in in the desktop as well. Just my opinion. Greeting from Venezuela

Octy92: The link to the odt file is broken. Can you fix it? Thanks.
