Linux Mint 10 KDE: User Input

Written by Clem on Sunday, October 10th, 2010

Linux Mint 10 KDE is now under development as Kubuntu 10.10 is about to be released.
So now the question goes out to the community, what do you want added, removed or swapped from Mint 9 KDE to Mint 10 KDE?
Should all KDE4 packages be installed (kde-all meta package)?
Should chromium be added?
What packages can we rationalise?
New themes, layout, etc.
Or just keep it the same?
Help make Linux Mint 10 KDE the best release yet.

Linux Mint 9 KDE Final is Close

Written by Clem on Tuesday, July 20th, 2010

I have just uploaded the 32bit and 64bit versions of Linux Mint 9 KDE for testing. All the updated packages are in the mint repositories, so if you are using the RC version and have been updating packages you have the final build already.

KDE 4.4.5 is Out

Written by Clem on Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

Linux Mint 9 KDE RC tester may have noticed that KDE 4.4.5 has hit the ppa repository and is available via mint update. The final release of Mint 9 KDE will have KDE 4.4.5 installed by default, unless a newer version is out. Happy KDEing.
